Safari hats, Attitudes, and Style

Safari hats can come in all sorts of shapes, forms, and materials

They protect your head and hair from the the sun, wind, dust.

leather safari hat Add a brim and you get a little more shade for your eyes and face,
and you get a little style.

You can be an adventurer by wearing the 'right' hat.

A hat can give you a bit of attitude and can define a kind of role that can last a few days (or longer).
Maybe you'd like to try something a little different.

If you're taking lots of pictures on safari be sure the brim doesn't interfere with using a camera, adjusting the settings, or the lens.

Most safari type hats are made of natural materials-
canvas, felt, leather,linen straw, wool.

You don't need to look for a hat that is marketed or named a safari hat.

You might see hats that are part of a safari collection of clothing. Or hats with designer names. I think of fedoras when I think of a safari hat

Of course if you're going to the beach a light colored visor, or 'baseball cap' might be all you want and need

Fitted hats or caps are nicer and more expensive than adjustable caps or visors, and the same is true for hats that are firmer in their shape and form. Bands also add some character and you can add a little color with perhaps, a feather.
