What to Look for in Your Kenya Tour Operator

3 qualities to look for when choosing a Kenya tour operator.

  • Your tour operator will know the terrain.
  • They will know the wildlife and culture.
  • They will speak Your language and If your tour operator knows your goals and interests (for example-
  • the kinds and varieties of wildlife you'd like to see
  • the amount of time you want to spend taking pictures

    Kenya wildlife
  • are attentive to your needs,
  • they can do a lot in making your safari experience an enjoyable one.

Safari tour operators vary wildly.

and WHO you decide to go with will in many ways determine the quality of your experience on your safari. So...
Get a good tour operator, (this is not the place you want to economize).

There are three basic levels of safaris.

  • Deluxe or Luxury African Safari
Luxury safaris are of course the most expensive-More personal attention, attentions to details,
Great Lodging- there are several safari operators who are leaders at this level.
  • Midrange-the most common type safari-also may have something of a packaged feel and
  • Economy
  • The 'budget' or camping type safari-perhaps suitable for some adventurers-rugged do it yourself-I would not recommend this level of safari unless you do Extensive planning and research.
