Kenya news has been in the Headlines lately.

January 2009-There was much celebration in Kenya the days before and the day of Obama's inauguration- and rightly so.The people of Kenya must feel a kinship with Obama.

WGN of Chicago did show some of the celebrations in Kenya through a correspondent out of Nairobi.

Feb, 28th 2008--The latest news is that Mwai Kibaki, the president, and Raila Odinga, the opposition leader, signed an agreement that creates a powerful prime minister position for Odinga. This splits cabinet posts between the government and the opposition. Both parties will have to make some changes and work together. The situation will be tenuous at best.
