Mombasa and Nairobi are the Two 'Hub' Cities in Kenya

mombasa map

Mombasa and Nairobi are the 2 best known cities in Kenya.
If you visit Kenya they are the two cities with airports.
Two cities you may want to visit.

Mombasa is an old city and a deep water port on the south east coast of Kenya
It is one of the older cities in the world.
Ptolemy-historian of the Roman Empire-knew about the city and port and so might you.

Main attractions in the area include Fort Jesus and the nearby market area where you can buy souvenirs. And of course there are also the beaches right at your footstep.

Nairobi is a newer city and the capital of Kenya. Large and sprawling there are sights there that you may want to visit.

Nairobi was once a simple rail road stop on the way to Western Kenya when the rail way was being built. (You can still ride the railroad from Nairobi to Mombasa-or you can go the other way.)
