teaching English or Bible School. In 2008 Five teams from Kenya Relief traveled to Kenya on Christian Mission trips. (Some 95 people)
Some of the trips were medical missions.
Some teams worked with education and the local schools.
Some went to run a 'Vacation Bible School'... and some individuals went to visit a child they sponsor.
In 2009 About 150 people traveled to Kenya and worked with Kenya Relief.
Trips for 2010 are complete. I'm thinking close to 200 people went on a mission trip and safari.
You can find the
tentative schedule for 2011 Here

Some mission trips are primarily
medical mission trips.
This could be taking registering patients, working in a pharmacy, giving shots or simply holding a child. There is Tremendous need for medical care in Kenya and there is NO comparison between medical care in Kenya and medical care in the U.S. and many European countries
There are other ways to help without going on a mission trip to Kenya.
You can

sponsor a child
, contribute to a widows fund, or a building project. You can be an enabler by
making a small loan to a Kenyan.
