Amboseli is a relatively small park: 390 kmē (150 sq. mi.) and is fairly close to Nairobi (160 mi. or 285 km). It is also a popular park-one of the Top Five Game Parks in Kenya. The park is located south of Nairobi along the Kenya-Tanzania border. You will find the Masai (also Maasai) in the area and the park was once known as Maasai Amboseli Game Reserve. Many safari tour operators offer itineraries to include several parks. You can go on a safari at Amboseli as well as a Masa Mara Safari. Kenya has an abundance of Parks.
