I fell in love with it years ago.

So where does it come from?

At over 17,000 feet Mt. Kenya stands snow capped even at the equator. 12,000-13,000 ft. below the peaks you'll find the coffee plantations.
You'll see Terraced rows of bushy trees,dark green leaves.

Coffee came to Kenya in a "round about" way.The coffee trees were brought from Reunion Island.

Beans from these trees become one of the best coffees in the world.

Some farms are big plantations, however most are small farms passed down, father to son, generation to generation.

Kenya AA coffee is known for its notes of citrus and berry. AA is the size of the coffee bean. What makes it different?

A combination of the rich volcanic soil, the altitude, the rainy seasons and The washing process (twice as long as most coffees). There is also a unique auction system.

You can drink it anytime, but it's best with desserts,
especially those with berries or fruit.
